TERRIBLE!! This book is junk compared to the many other chicken soup for the soul books I have bought over the years. Some of the stories are so ridiculously stupid, I wonder if the editor even read them. There are maybe two good stories in the whole book the rest is just heartless to filler, do not waste your time buying or reading this book

This book makes perfect gifts for friends who need to be encouraged. Beautifully written, thoughtful and inspiring.

Great short stories! I work in nursing home, and quite often you can hold their attention for a few minutes. These books are perfect for that.

I bought this volume and 6 others related to the Christmas season hoping for touching, moving, inspirational reflections on this holiday season.
The titles should be changed a bit to include the word “Christian” or “religious”. An overwhelming number of the stories include Christian views and motivations for how the Christmas spirit and any behaviors were because of the writer’s faith and Christ, Jesus, Christian belief system. I think there was only 1-2 non christian religious belief systems included, Muslim, Buddhist.
I was hoping for secular based stories. christian folks and those of other religions and those with non religious beliefs all can do good deeds.
If you’re seeking volumes that reflect christian views, these books are for you. But I only wished the title would mention the overwhelming theme was that good deeds done were based on the writer’s Christian views.

Every woman should read story #94 "The Mother of All Gifts" by Micki Findlay and if you can read it without belly laughing, call me up.

Very sweet stories written by real people. One story in this book was written by my cousin. Fun!

As always, theses books are wonderful. I always look forward to the Christmas books! I must admit they are my favorite. I read one or two stories every morning, to start my day.

Bought this to read to my son before bed during the holiday season. When I was his age I enjoyed reading these chicken soup books. I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I remembered enjoying the ones from years ago but it was still worth the read. Wasn’t mad I bought it.

I was thrilled to have my story, "Christmas Present, Christmas Past" included in this collection. When I received my copy, I read the other stories, and they are beautiful tributes to the spirit of the season. So much warmth, generosity, and love. If you "need a little Christmas," this is the perfect book for you.
