Addicting read for the true book worm

My mother sent me "Bread Alone" years ago when it first came out. I read it then & loved it & recently read it again. Recently, I found 'book 2' The Apprentice & don't want to finish it...it is sooo good.

Bread, women and their commradier, life, love.

I loved this book. I loved the story from start to finish and the bread recipes were really an added extra. I love how she finds herself and how she develops relationships with the other women. How she turns life that has become unbearable into something that is special. A journey worth taking. Nice read
