Born To Win: The Ultimate Seminar

For motivational speaking you can't beat Zig. There not so much practical info in this one, but it is good to keep you motivated to reach your goals.

Much of what Zig Ziglar has to say is wonderful, however some of his presentation is out dated. He believes Rock music is evil. Based on his thesis, almost everyone born since 1950 must be evil and must have become a drug addict. Good grief.

Very surprising service from Amazon. Generally service from Amazon is excellent, however for this order they sent me two copies; I ordered one. This is the second time this year that an order has been duplicated. The system would not allow for return and refund. After an instant chat, the Amazon agent agreed to refund my purchase price, and she sent me a return label. Apparently, although it was Amazon's fault that I received two copies, I had to pay return shipping. I am not happy.

I love the way Mr. Zig Ziglar communicates and connects with his audience and me, with his easy going southern drawl and style. So much wisdom he shares from his own experience and every living. The 3 main takeaways I took away from BORN TO WIN

1) Look Good. Be Good. Do Good. Improve our self image, and the world will smile back at you.
2) I weight 165 pounds. Mr. Ziglar wrote, and said this in his book when he weighted 202 lbs. By publicing announcing his goals, he had to achieve and accomplish his goal within 9 months before he published his book. Have to visual the results, and set a date to achieve it.
3) You don't pay the price for success. You enjoy the fruit of success. If you are paying the price of success, Less Health, "Less" Family, and "Less" Self, it is not really success. You enjoy the fruit of success. More Health, "More" Family, and "More" Self.

If you are in sales or just want a better outlook on life, you need this CD. I went to a few of Zig's seminars in the '80s, and his Born to Win and See You At the Top tape series changed my life and gave me the confidence to make a seven figure a year income. Zig was a Godly man (he passed away in 2012) and his advice on life and our behavior towards others is very pertinent in today's world. Some of his sayings may seem corny, but I still repeat them 30 years later. He was truly a blessed man with an important message.

Zig Ziglar was one of the best ever motivational speakers. He relates well to the audience and speaks laymens terms. He makes you think about the best way to tackle life. Head on and with a positive attitude.

Zigs book born to win reminds us not to give up. We all have the potential to change for the better. Thanks Zig for reminding us that we all can have a better tomorrow!
