Book Love

I ADORE this book (& author)!!! After reading her first piece (& being so captivated by it), I knew I had to buy this one! Books are a big passion of mine & Debbie captures all the feels & experiences of being a book lover in this beautiful piece! This book was so captivating & beautifully illustrated that I absolutely had to finish it in one sitting (as I did with her first!). Debbie, also being an introvert, captures the wonderful escape from the outside world the written word offers. I was so happy to see Harry Potter listed as some of her favorite books being that J. K. Rowling’s series is my favorite of all time! I absolutely recommend this delightful, wonderful book for both introverts & bibliophiles alike!!! I’m sooo happy to add it my collection & will absolutely be visiting it again- many, many times! 10 STARS!!!

This precious little book was written about me and my people. At least, that is how it feels when you read it and enjoy the artwork. If you love to read, as many of us on GR do, then this will be your take on this book as well. This is a delightful book that highlights so many of the quirky things that bookish people do. There are the obvious ones, like being a magnet to a bookstore or library and always having a book with us but the more unique are things like preferences of physical versus e-readers and one I have been guilty of myself, using my e-reader in a physical book as a bookmark.
This is a lovely book that is a pleasure to read through but would also make a sweet gift for a bookish friend. I highly recommend it.

This was an impulse buy - I saw some of the cartoons online, and immediately bought three of these books. Because I know I needed this book, and I knew at least two other people who would enjoy it, too. I have no regrets. This book makes me so happy.

Every page made me smile, made me feel understood and appreciated and not alone. Thank you so much for your beautiful art, Ms Tung - I recommend this to all book lovers around the globe!

I absolutely loved this book. It was book humor at it's finest. I personally found it extremely relatable and it put me in a better mood.

I borrowed this book from my library, but this is one that I would be happy to have on my shelf. I would find myself reading it over and over again. It would be perfect if you are in a reading slump, to remind yourself why you loved reading.

It is a bit slanted towards paper readers, but as I read in all formats I enjoyed the overall love of reading present through the book. Also, I do still enjoy my paper books.

I have never taken the time to read a graphic novel. This book might have changed that for me. This book basically descibed me. I loved it. It literally made me laugh out loud. I love the drawings and I loved the story. This book was written for book lovers everywhere. It really doesn't matter what genre you prefer, if you love books you will love this one.

This little graphic novel was beautiful. The art was simple yet affective and the writing was extremely relatable. I would recommend this to any self proclaimed book lover.
