Alphaprints: Colors (Alphaprints) [Board book]

Absolutely love this book, I did my reserch and was looking for a good book to teach colors, one that is clear and easy to understand, that doesn't mix colors in the same page that may confused the baby and this one is Perfect.

I bought this for our granddaughter for her first birthday. She seems to really like it and is easily able to open the little tabs. The colors are very vibrant. It’s a nice little book to introduce colors.

This is such a great book for teaching colors, the pictures are colorful, adorable and filled with variations of the color, so it’s not confusing to a learning baby or toddler. The raised fingerprint type swirls of texture on each page make it even more interactive and interesting. My one and a half year old granddaughter loves this book. I will definitely buy this again for baby shower and first birthday gifts.

First bought this book several years ago for a new baby. When our grandson was born, we bought one for him too. It soon became his favorite book! Since then, I have purchased this book for every new baby that I know. Everyone seems to love it!
It is very colorful. There is texture to it and I like the way Roger Priddy incorporates every day objects in with the pictures. It is also very well made.

This is my second copy of this book because my two year old son has absolutely destroyed the first copy because he LOVES this book. We read it dozens of times a day and he sleeps with it and wakes up to flip through the pages. One of our faves for sure. We love the bright colors, the texture on the pages as well as the text. We often act out each animal with each other. Truly a great addition to your little one’s library.

My 16 month old daughter loves this book. She loves feeling the textures. My friend's 2 yr old son also loves this book when they come over. Highly recommend

My baby loves these books. I also got the ABC and 123 books. Started reading them to him from 3 months old. He loves them more as he gets older. He’s 10 months now. The colors and words are fun and educational. He enjoys touching the fingerprints on the pages.

By far our most favorite book! She loves to scratch the fingerprints and laughs at all of the animals. It’s great for counting and teaching animal sounds too! We have been enjoying this book for about 10 months now and it never gets old!

Ok, I like the idea of these books, but it realllllllllly bothers me that this is a colors book and they chose animals and objects that don’t make sense for the color. I mean, if you’re going to be imaginary like a yellow monkey/ape, then do that throughout, but then they have pink pigs and a blue whale which make sense. I forget which page, but there’s like vegetables or plants that would make sense in a different color page and stuff like that. Really bothers me. Also, maybe all the alpha print books are like this, but not all the finger prints are textured. The big ones are, but some of the smaller ones are not. Wish they were.

Purchased for my 6-month-old granddaughter. She immediately was drawn to the colors and now that she's 1-year-old, it's still one of her favorite books.
