Amazing Romantic Comedy!

I wish I could give this book 10 stars! It was so amazing! I don't remember the last time I laughed so much while reading a book! Annie and Chris have an amazing story and their interactions are hilarious! The story line kept me hooked the entire time. I kept reading and as I got closer to the end, I wanted to find out what happened, but I didn't want to be finished reading their story. I am going to read the other books in the series and look into other works by the author. I loved her writing style! I highly recommend this book, even if you haven't read the first in the series (I hadn't). Although the characters from the first book of the series are in it, you don't need to know their backstory for this book to make sense. Go get the book!!

I received this book for free through Goodreads Giveaways.

*** Loved Annie and Chris ***

I won this book through Goodreads First-reads. This is no way influenced my review.

Almost a Bride by Jo Watson was my first book by this author and I am sure it will not be my last. Annie has a job she loves (fashion assistant at a magazine) but messes up one day. Her alarm didn't wake her so she was late for work. Then she forgot the Laboutins for the photo shoot that was going to take place. She rushed home to get them and knew as soon as she walked in the door that she was not alone. Thinking there was an intruder she grabbed a large knife. She heard noise coming from the bedroom and opened the door and found her boyfriend with a coworker having kinky sex. Needless to say that day she lost her job and also lost a place to live as it was the BF house.

Annie was not in a good place. Her girlfriends talked her into taking a tropical vacation. It was all good until she spotted the ex with his girlfriend at the same resort. That is when the fun really begins. You will laugh and you will cry and you will keep turning those pages to see what is going to happen next. I hope you like this book as much as I did.

Laugh out loud funny and very, very romantic.

Wow! This book is fantastic. I was hooked from the first line all the way to the end. The characters were funny and endearing and I found myself rooting for them from the first time they met. If you want a very funny, light-hearted fun read set in an amazing, exotic location this is for you. I was so impressed by this book and I can't wait to read more.

Almost a Bride is such a fun book. It’s definitely one that will get you ...

Almost a Bride is such a fun book. It’s definitely one that will get you out of a slump and laughing.

I absolutely adored Annie. She’s fun, quirky, and gets caught in the most awkward situations. I couldn’t even imagine my reaction to some of the things that happen. I don’t want to say what they are because it’ll take away from the shock of it.

I do have to say that I love when fake relationships turn into more. You basically start out as friends and things just blossom. I loved the easiness between Annie and Chris. It’s like they’ve known each other for years rather than days.

There are of course a few bumps along the way, but it’s how you handle those situations that show the type of person you are. And can I just say that Annie is much better off without the guy who sent her into a downward spiral.

Almost a Bride is a quick, fun read. You’ll be laughing, snorting, and just having a great time while you read about Annie and Chris.
