Alien General's Fated (Brion Brides)

This was a good story in the series. Although it wasn't my favorite, I did enjoy Aria's character development. I also liked the way that Ryden grew as well. He starts off pretty full of himself and he's kind of a hothead throughout the book but eventually he mellows slightly... for a Brion anyway. There is a decent amount of action, some back and forth both emotionally and mentally, and enough mayhem to keep you turning pages. Give this one a try. It can be read as a stand alone but works better as part of the series, just so you have the history.

She is an Ambassador for Terran, with a job to do control the General which is laughable at best, and deadly impossible at worst. She really is a peace kind of Ambassador. But also be prepared to protect, shield and preserve the union's way of life. Politics and bureaucracy is an insurmountable obstacle to the process of anything. The General's methods may be drastic but she can not in her heart of hearts say that is not warranted. He is fighting a war that they asked him to protect the moon at all costs. They just did not realize he would do that with or without their approvals. After all it is war. Sacrifices will be made. .

Now, if she can just do her part without losing her life heart and soul to the General. She suspects that in an impossibility that fate has its determined hand on.

The General, Ryden can not get the little Terran Ambassador from his mind his savage need for her leaves him guessing if she could possibly be his geisha.. or is it his simple want for it to be true? Is it the Hive mind tricking him controlling his need for her. He doesn't believe so, however he must protect her above all else. Can he do his duty and save her for himself? Will any of them survive this war, absolutely it is his destiny to fulfill. He will make it so, with or without the councils blessings.

I enjoyed the adventure and the excitement Vi sends on in this Fated love story. Love can even win wars it seems.

I received this arc for an honest review. Ryden was send to protect Ilotra from the Hive mind. Aria hated the ideal of asking the Brions to help. To her they was a war happy group. When Ryden saves her over and over, she is left questioning her own opinion. When the Hive Mind holds her hosage she tells them she will help them. Her hope is that by outsmarting them will bring a chance to run or for someone to help her. This is a great story that keeps the pages turning and not wanting it to end. Highly recommend.

Aria is a trainer ambassador of the Terran's otherwise known as humans. As part of her new trainee ambassador assignment is she must keep the newest General, General Ryden and his ship called the Conqueror in line while he and his crew are on the planet Ilotra. She can do this right? Right..... With the planet on the brink of war with the Clayors and her feelings for the hardened general start to surface what will she do to keep herself in line. Will she follow the will of the Union or will she finally follow her heart?
General Ryden does not really want the newest assignment the Brion Elders have given him. But since he took command of the Conqueror not but a couple hours ago, he really has no choice. Protect the planet Ilotra at all costs. That is his assignment. So what happens when a little Terran woman turns his head around to the point of growling at her at every possible moment. And it's not the growling she should be worried about....

I am enjoying the Brion Brides series quite a bit. The series just keeps getting better! This book is tie as my favorite with Alien General's Bride. The author gives us an alpha male we can really fall for, as well as a strong, smart female. This book gives gives us more details into how a Brion General thinks. Lots of action right from the get go. Me Voxley , please hurry with the next instalment!

The Clayors a Hive mind race has declared open war on the Galactic Union worlds. Ryden, a fierce Brion warrior, has been called to Ilotra to protect the Union Council. He would rather be fighting the Clayors than babysitting the Council, but he will do his duty.

When it is discovered that the Clayors are already on Ilotra Ryden declares Martial Law and the battle ready Brions go on the attack. What follows is a race to get ahead of the games the Host of the Clayor is playing. As the body count rises Ryden fights to keep Aria, his Fated, safe.
This exciting story will keep you rivited till the last page. All I can say is happiness is getting to read this well crafted Brion Bride series by Vi Voxley who has created a whole new universe inhabited by fascinating characters. Well done and thanks Vi.

This is a sensational story packed with intrigue, ferocious battles, betrayal, retribution, and redemption. With all this going on, Ryden and Aria still find the time to explore their mutual attraction. Enjoy reading this complex and passionate story by Vi Voxley. It is one I will enjoy reading again and again!

Ryden has been tasked with protecting the moon Ilotra, but ends up getting much more in the bargain.

This book has high tension! I loved this!! The depth of emotion coupled with high anxiety makes for a very exciting sexy romance!! With alien beings that are so bad that they are really good and others so very, very, bad!! There is nothing that could change in this science fiction romance!! This author does the unthinkable. She makes you part of the story!! You will feel right there, through the pulse pounding action!! I loved this book, Ms. Voxley, Thank you!!!

I recently stumbled across Vi's books and they have been an amazing discovery. The wit and charm of her characters comes ringing through expertly crafted passages and surpurb battle scenes. I was very pleased with the amount of character depth Aria and Ryden possessed in this work- and even more so pleased with Vi's signature love scenes. My favorite part about Vi's work is she calls "it" what "it" is- her verbiage is one of the reasons I keep rereading her works. She won't leave you empty handed. Excellent job on your newest work, Vi! I can't wait to read the next one!
