With unbridled anticipation, I soared through this book, my eyes raced over each page digesting every tantalizing word and piercing dilema. Every time I sighed with relief thinking the danger was over, another adversary appeared in the next chapter threatening to break the last link holding Zoe's life together.

I was hooked from the start. The book flowed well and kept my attention for all 267 pages. It reads very easy, but isn't simple. Zoe lead a very nice lifestyle and seemed to attract people of a different element, which was kind of interesting. There were times I wished Jason wasn't so sappy, but that added to the storyline. The "affairs" were tough and rough, so I can see why Zane choose that route. The book has sex, lies, murder, intrigue, suspense and all that. I liked the realistic details about the book, then ending got a little far-fetched, but hey, people are crazy this day and age and that could have happened! You won't be disappointed. Way to go Zane.

Unbeknownst to Zoe the protagonist of the story (and me for that matter), Zoe's sexual behavior was probably shaped long before she moved to her new neighborhood when she was in the fifth grade. The neighborhood where she met Jason, the boy who would become her first sweetheart, the boy who she would lose her virginity to and become pregnant by, the man who would later become her husband and yet through it all would not be able to satisfy her sexual cravings, sexual indulgence, sexual desires, sexual needs. As such, Zoe would seek sexual satisfaction outside of the marriage and would engage in a number of extramarital encounters ...some of the strange kind. As Zoe's addiction becomes overbearing, all-consuming and life-threatening she seeks professional counseling. It is via professional counseling that the secrets of the past come rushing forward...secrets that Zoe was unaware existed in the corners of her brain, secrets that help shape Jason's actions as well as secrets that Zoe's mom felt were better left in the past. As the secrets unveil, Zoe is able to find herself...however...will life now be perfect or will someone from her past be out to get her...?
Addicted is a wickedly sensual, page turning, quick read story that will keep you up until the wee hours finishing the book. Addicted is lurid, bold, neurotic and totally engaging. Addicted is erotica with a storyline, substance and depth. It's also suspenseful and intriguing with plot twists and turns that take you to the edge and over if you're not careful. Just when you think its all figured out Zane takes you in another direction.
Addicted is the first book that I've read by Zane but I'm quite sure it will not be the last.

I really enjoyed this book. Not only was it a fast read, but a good read, at one point, I could not put the book down. Addition is addition, but, I never thought of being addicted to sex. Zane was able to focus on her addition and the problems that the addition caused in Zoe personal life and professional life. Jason, Zoe husband was a little different. Personally, I thought he should have informed Zoe that he was adopted prior to their getting married, but he didnt, that piece of information came out later. All in all, this was a fantastic book. the family relationship was tight and thank God because if Zoe married anyone else, her ending might not have turned out the way it did, and everyone was satisfied in the end. This book should be made into a movie, it is just that good and I will continue to read her writing. Zane, may the force be with you...

Caution---Read at your own risk. Addicted, is filled with twists, turns, lies, love and secrets which make up a lot of drama. Hold on for a rollercoster ride. Unconditional love is what Zoe and Jason shared. Each time I thought the drama was over something else happened. The suspense had me on edge until the very end.

This was a very interesting story of a woman like many that I know who wonders why they make bad decisions in their personal and sexual lives. Zoe's drama is nothing new for a lot of people, but most people never take the time to seek help and find out why they make bad choices - this story take you through that journey with Zoe. The author also weaves in a strong dose of love and family to help her through that journey. Thanks to Zane maybe this work of fiction will open some eyes and minds. It is fiction and the story get a little drawn out in places, but it worked.
I've been a fan of Zane's for about six months through her newsletters and website, believe me that sistah has opened my mind to a lot of things. Thanks Zane, keep up the good work. We got a sexual revolution going on here.

Addicted will have you addicted from the first page. My mouth fell open from some of Zoe's escapades. After I found out the root of the problem, I was in crying for Zoe. The suspense and erotic theme was great.

Zane does it again! Addicted is a novel which will keep you on the edge of your seat. It has love, murder, infidelity and much more to keep you on a rollercoaster of emotion. I recommend this book highly and was very please the way true love was portrayed to the very end. Absolutely WONDERFUL!
