A Ride Through the Neighborhood (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood)

Daniel Tiger is such a great program for kiddos. I started showing this TV show to my son when he was an infant, he was enthralled by the big faces, and now as a toddler loves the songs and characters. I love how they have so many great lessons in each episode, and do the cartoon as well as real life experiences for the kiddos to watch. The lessons are so good to implement with my little one, and as I hear the songs more and more I can remember to sing them to him when he's facing one of those issues.

We have a couple of the holiday Daniel Tiger lift the flap books also. He also has the DVD set and the big and small Daniel Tiger plush. Of course he was Daniel Tiger for Halloween this year also. So he is a huge fan! (We ordered a Trolley patch like the kids wear in the show on their red zip sweaters). Overall, I highly recommend this show to any parent looking for an innocent program, that teaches kids concepts about life experiences, feelings, and how to handle them.

This book arrived in a padded envelope from Amazon with a few dents and dings. Not bad enough to return it though. It's a hard board book in the shape of Trolley, with glossy pages.

The excitement from my son when receiving this as part of his Easter gift was beyond wonderful for me to watch. We have read it numerous times already, and I am so glad I purchased this book for him. It's a must-have for any kiddo that has a love for Daniel Tiger.

Cute book but it came apart in the first week and the pieces are choking hazard.

I gave this to my son for his 2yr birthday and he LOVED it for about a week when it fell apart. He still carries the pages around and tells us how tiger is broken. We have many board books that have lasted through three kids with no problem. This book is much more flimsy and the pages peel right off the cardboard backing.

This Daniel Tiger book is great for my 2 year old. We Pre-ordered 4 books and this is for sure his favorite. He loves that the wheels actually move and he drives it like its a toy. So you get a book and a fun toy for your kids to play with.

The story is very good because you get to see all the characters of the show and you see where they live and the families they have.

Overall this is a wonderful book that kids will enjoy for a very long time, It is well built and has very thick pages so those page rippers wont be able to infiltrate this one. Get it and have a blast!

We LOVE Daniel T books but unfortunately, we can't keep this one. The wheels come off with small metal parts. MAJOR choking hazard. :(

My son really loves Daniel Tiger and wheels so I thought this would be perfect. The odd size of the book is a little awkward and the story is just ok. The biggest disappointment was the wheels. They are not an actual wheel but just a round piece of cardboard connected by more cardboard so it doesn't really "roll" easy.

"A Ride Through the Neighborhood" is a delightful little book filled with characters from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. School is out for the day and Trolley is taking Miss Elena, Prince Wednesday, Katerina Kittycat, O the Owl, and Daniel Tiger to their families. Trolley begins its ride through the neighborhood with all the children aboard, dropping kids off to their parents/guardians until only Daniel is left to met his dad at the Clock Factory. Each character is equally featured, so your little ones won't be disappointed. The book opens with Daniel's bright, "Hi, neighbor!" and closes with his loving, "Ugga Mugga!" Get ready to read a lot of "dings" for Trolley--your kiddo will dig it!

The book is of a very nice quality. It is a board book, but without the massively thick pages some have. Definitely sturdy. The wheels do spin freely which is a nice touch. You can wheel the Trolley book around in make-believe, if you like.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son who loves Daniel Tiger. He also loves anything with wheels... Shazam! Perfect gift. He LOVES this trolley. I also bought the package that has the neighborhood friends. You can only fit a couple of friends at a time, but he loses them more often than we can find them, so no biggie there. I recommend this to all Daniel Tiger fans. Oh, the ding ding of the trolley bell sounds just like it does on the show. Bonus!

We’ve had this book for about a year and it’s still a big hit. Haven’t had any issues with the wheels getting loose or coming off. My daughter loves that the wheels move. We bring this book on vacation because it’s small and can be used as a book or little car and keeps my daughter occupied on the plane.

My son loves Daniel Tiger's show and bought this as a gift on his 2nd birthday! It's a hard book and the wheels really works. My son loves it when I make it move like the trolley in the show while singing the theme song.
